The abundance of GTA 5 details revealed trough the worldwide previews takes no end. After the french preview on JuexActu and the German preview on PCGames, IGN started the GTA V feature week with the first GTA 5 hands-on preview. He are all the details and screenshots that we could extract.

Summary

GTA V will have 15 different dog types.
Chop, the rottweiler belongs to Lamar and not Franklin.
The voice actors include real gang members like some Salvadorian thugs.
There are at least 50 bridges in GTA 5. The player needs to fly under them trough to complete the “Knife Flight” and “Under the Bridge” achievements and trophies.
The day and night circles are more realistic so it will be darker in the dessert then in the city over night.
Animals, when hit by a vehicle yelp and run away.
Light panels make a buzzing noise.

The usual walking tempo is slower then in GTA 4.
When switching characters, no decrease in frame rates will be experienced.
When not controlling characters: Franklin hangs out in the ghetto, Trevor in the badlands and Michael in downtown.
Health generates only 50%. You need to take med-packs or eat to generate full recovery.
Flashing on the screen: The flash advises you to switch to a certain character. Michael is blue, Franklin is orange and Trevor is green. When a character is in danger during a mission, a red flash signals you to switch. White signals say only you have the option but it’s not necessary.
Chop can distract enemies so you gain an advantage against enemies.
A.i. and protags have thousands of animations possibilities trough the game.
Random encounters can happen also when one of your homies interact with other characters.
The player can choose a weapon type with the stick and with the D-pad between the subcategories in that part. Like Uzi and SMG will be under the same part of wheel.
You don’t loose weapons when in hospital or arrested.
No cockpit view this time.
Pedestrians call the police when you drive over people, shoot around or steal cars.
There are missions called: Nervous Ron, Vienwood Babylon and Derailed.
When dying in a mission, you will restart from the last checkpoint now. The gameplay is more forgiven styled.
All missions can be replayed when successfully finished.

GTA 5 Online Summary

Masks, hats, glasses can be found on the general inventory menu.
One 18-hole golf club and several tennis courts in Los Santos. Tennis can be played by two while golf is up to 4 players.
There will be a variety of missions playable between 2-16 players.
All 16 players on the server can fill the cinema and watch over 20 movies.
You can choose between a mission playlist or jump directly into GTA 5 free-roam.
